Wedding & Hireware Terms & Conditions
‘LT FLORALS LTD TA / Les Fleurs Florist’ hereafter referred to as ‘us’ or ‘we’. Bridal client, hereafter to referred to as ‘you’ or ‘your’.
Terms of Payment
I. To secure the date of your wedding within our calendar, we require a non-refundable booking fee of £75.00 which is deducted from the final balance due.
II. We require an additional non-refundable booking fee of £25 per item for any of the following items; Light Up Love Sign, Floral Love Letters, Backdrops, Arches – which is non-transferrable to any other items in your booking with Les Fleurs. Should you no longer require the specified item that associated £25 booking fee will be forfeited.
III. The total amount due, minus the booking deposit is payable by no later than four weeks prior to the wedding date.
IV. Payments can be made by cash or VISA/MASTERCARD card payment either via the telephone or by coming into our shop on Torquay Road, Paignton. We also accept bacs transfer and paypal by special arrangement.
V. Bank Details: – Please use your Name and Wedding Date as your reference when making payment
Quotations
I. Quotations are provided at the time of consultation or in a following email should prices need to be obtained for specific flower availability or for the finding and costing of new sundries.
II. Quotations are valid for 4 weeks from the date of issue and will be priced for those items initially listed on the order. The booking fee (as listed above under the Terms of Payment) will secure the booking at the quoted price payable within three weeks of the date of issue.
III. Should an order be amended by change of flower varieties or the date of requirement, Les Fleurs reserves the right to provide a new quotation as seasonal factors or a change in flower selection many change the cost of provision.
Brexit
I. Until a verdict is reached regarding Brexit and trade relationships, we are unable to guarantee an exact cost for orders placed more than a year in advance. In this instance, your attached brief is an estimate only and any inflation costs regarding Brexit will be notified to you within 2 weeks of the final Brexit trade decisions.
Amendments, Changes & Additions
II. Amendments, changes and additions can be made up until the final balance is due (four weeks prior to the wedding date).
III. Last minute additions can be added up until 48 hours before subject to stock availability. In the event of limited stock supply, we may be able to offer a similar alternative suitable for purpose.
Cancellations
I. Cancellations prior to four weeks before the wedding date, will receive a full refund minus the 20% booking fee.
II. Cancellations prior to the wedding but within the four weeks prior to the wedding date will not receive a refund unless the date can be filled by a last minute booking. This is due the contract we have with our suppliers and will have pre-ordered your flowers from The Netherlands to ensure the varieties you have requested are available to us.
Postponed Wedding Date
III. Should you need to postpone your wedding, we can accommodate moving your date to a future date, subject to availability.
IV. Inflation of costs may occur to that which has been previously quoted for.
Substitutions
I. We will do everything in our power to prevent substitutions. We reserve the right to substitute in the event that the flowers received are not of sufficient quality suitable for your wedding. In this event the integrity of the requested colour scheme will be maintained, with flowers of similar aesthetics and value to be used in place of those initially agreed.
II. We will not use flowers to substitute that you have initially, specifically requested us not to use in any of your designs.
Hireware, Loaned & Rented Items
I. At all times during your event, the hired items remain the property of Les Fleurs.
II. All items that are loaned or hired from us, (such as glass ware and wedding décor items), that are not returned, or returned damaged and not as received, will be chargeable. We will access the repair or replacement cost and invoice you for such costs.
III. Items must be returned to us on the day after the wedding date, unless this falls on a Sunday, of which this is then carried over onto a Monday.
IV. Where we have arranged that the items are to be collected by us from the venue, we ask that they are ready for us from 8.30am the day following the wedding day. Should these items not be readily available to us or have been removed from the agreed collection venue, we expect them sourced and to be returned by yourselves.
Communication
I. Our policy is to respond to any correspondence within 48hours, whether it be by email, phone, social media or otherwise.
II. It may be that another member of staff other than your wedding florist contacts you regarding your order, to process payments, discuss delivery details or in reply to your correspondence.
Query of order
I. As all of the items we make are bespoke, and subject to interpretation of brief, if you feel that an item is not as you would like it, we require you to contact us immediately upon receipt of the order. We will endeavour to amend the item where physically possible and in accordance with the original brief.
II. Should you be unhappy with any of your order, we require for you to contact us with 24 hours of receipt of the items. If you contact us before they are due to be used, we aim to rectify the situation.
Agreement of Contract
I. By receiving this document alongside your wedding order we assume that you have read and understood this contract. If you have any reason not to agree to these terms and conditions, or that something is not understood, we require a written or emailed letter within 21 days of receipt of these terms and conditions.
